Our Team

Warm greetings and a heartfelt welcome to the official website of Lumbini Service Society, USA (LSS USA). Lumbini Service Society was established as a collective initiative to unite Nepalis who share historical, cultural, and emotional ties with Lumbini: the sacred birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha, the pioneer of world peace. Guided by our core motto, “Service and Unity is Our Commitment,” the Society serves as a common platform for collaboration and community building. It is a non-political, non-profit, and community-oriented organization, dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and intergenerational transfer of Nepali language, literature, art, culture, and traditions.
Our primary responsibility is to foster mutual harmony, cooperation, and a spirit of service among individuals and families residing in the United States who share a connection with Lumbini. At the same time, we remain institutionally committed to supporting service-oriented and welfare initiatives in Nepal, particularly in the Lumbini region, our ancestral homeland. Our bylaws provide clear guidance for operating the organization in a transparent, accountable, and democratic manner.

Through our General Assembly, Executive Committee, Patron, sub-committees, and advisory structures, we continue to move forward by valuing the participation, ideas, and leadership of all members. With special focus on women, youth, culture, and sports, we strive to contribute meaningfully to the overall development of our community. Lumbini Service Society is your shared organization. Its success, impact, and sustainability depend on the active participation of our members, well-wishers, volunteers, and supporters. I sincerely invite all members to engage actively in our programs, share innovative ideas, and walk together with us on this journey of service and unity. Finally, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Founder Presidents and Patron, Executive Committee members, advisors, donors, and volunteers who have contributed to the Society since its establishment.
